The Russian pass-player Dmitry Kovalev stated that final match between volleyball players of Russian and Pole teams at the Universiade turned out to be very difficult despite the score 3-0.
The Russian volleyball players won gold medals at the Universiade in Kazan, having defeated Poland in the final with the score 3-0.
"Despite the score the very game was difficult. The Pole team played well in defence; it was difficult to throw a ball to the floor. We won them but it was really hard. Today we were a little bit better, today was the main game. We had no much strength but our mood was great, Kovalev said to journalist of R-Sport.
This is the third victory of Russian volleyball players in a row at the University Games.
