Kamilla Gafurzyanova: It seems that I host the entire world

What feelings did Kazan which was immersed in the atmosphere of the Universiade leave?

 - Very unusual feelings. It seems to me that I host the whole world as Kazan is my home town, my home. It is so pleasant to know that we are so well prepared. I am proud of my city!

What competitions did you manage to visit?

- I liked to present at the chess tournament most of all. Grand venue, I couldn't even imagine that it is so beautiful. Of course, I watched fencing as well. I was surprised how quickly they coped with the preparation of the venue. In addition to fencing and chess we had time to go to the beach volleyball and basketball finals.

What is the mission of the Kazan 2013 Ambassadors?

- As the Kazan 2013 Ambassador, I visited schools and told children about these competitions, and how they differ from the Olympic Games. I conducted exercises with pupils and involved them in a healthy life style. And the most important and honourable mission is the Torch Relay in which I have participated. I really wanted to take part in the Torch Relay in Kazan, but, unfortunately, I couldn't. However, I ran among the first Torchbearers in Russia, Vladivostok. And I was one of the flag holders at the Opening Ceremony, which was also very nice and will be remembered for a lifetime.
