Ice hockey legends to gather in Kazan for fundraising match

A number of legendary ice hockey players were invited by President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, to visit Kazan between September 21 and 23, 2014. Among the special guests are member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and 1972 Summit Series player Phil Esposito, leading scorer of the 1972 and 1974 Summit Series and USSR team player Alexander Yakushev, as well as Valery Kamensky, Alexander Semak, Esa Tikkanen and other ice hockey stars.

During their stay in Kazan, the ice hockey legends will play in a charity match in the Tatneft Arena Palace of Sport. It is expected that President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, will also take part in it. 

As part of their visit to Kazan, the hockey celebrities will tour sports venues, visit tourist attractions, take a look at Tatarstan's investment-attractive projects and give masterclasses to young hockey players on the eve of the match. Shortly before the game, they will meet with fans for an autograph session. 

Tickets for the fundraising match are already on sale. Paper tickets can be purchased at ticket offices across the city while e-tickets are available via www.bileton.ru and the state and municipal services portal of the Republic of Tatarstan.
