Directorate for Sports Projects awarded for perfect running of protocol events

The Executive Directorate for Sports Projects was granted an award at the 3rd FEPS International Forum, an event recognising achievements in protocol services, image building and behavioral etiquette. The Directorate's Protocol Department was announced as this year's winner in the High Standard of Protocol Event Management category for excellent organisation of official events during the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan. The trophy was handed to Head of the Protocol Department, Ilmira Tryaeva. The success of Universiade-time protocol service resulted from a joint work of the Directorate and Interdepartmental Working Group on Preparation, Accreditation and Organisation of Interaction Between Federal, Regional and Municipal Authorities and Games Protocol Service.

The awards ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 3rd FEPS International Forum in Moscow on November 23. The forum gives protocol officers and other specialists the perfect opportunity to learn, network and exchange ideas with fellow professionals. 

The forum was held under the auspices of Russia's Chamber and Commerce, Moscow Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, National Protocol Officers Association, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and Russian Academy of Business.

The forum's organising committee is chaired by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, President of the National Protocol Officers Association, Head of the Protocol Service of the Soviet Presidential Administration, Head of the Protocol Service in the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Presidential adviser Vladimir Shevchenko.
