Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship ends in Kazan

Moscow grabs two gold medals and Lilia Nizamova takes silver - here's the summary of the final day of the Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship.

Anisia Neborako topped the podium in the women's solo event this morning, finishing 3.5 points ahead of Lilia Nizamova, who is as student of the Naberezhnye Chelny Branch of Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. 

"It's not up to me to decide what the judges liked in my routine. My job is to perform it, to correct the mistakes my coach was talking about. And coaches, judges, spectators should know better what is so special about it," Neborako commented.

Moscow's synchro swimming group earned their sixth gold medal at the championship in the group combination routine. Tatarstan's swimmers placed sixth.
