Countdown to Opening Ceremony:
The Russian synchro swimmers earned the Universiade gold in the combination free routine event.
The Russians Vlada Chigireva, Mikhaela Kalancha, Daria Korobova, Anisya Olkhova, Alexandra Patskevich, Elena Prokofyeva, Alla Shishkina, Maria Shurochkina, Anzhelika Timanina, and Alexandra Zueva finished with 97.690 points.
The Japanese team gained the silver (92.180), and the Hungarian team took the bronze, reports R-Sport.
Thus, the Russians claimed all the four gold medals in synchronised swimming at the Universiade.
