The match of the second round of Group A ended with the score 3-0 (25:16, 25:15, 25:15) in favour of the Yury Marichev’s team. The Polish team won the first two rallies, but the Russians played quietly behind and went ahead to the first technical break - 8:5. Further, the 'white-blue-red' completely dominated the court and only built up their lead - 25:16.
