The silver medal winner in classical style belt wrestling (100 kg) Eskarkhan Oskanov, Kazakhstan, said to R-Sport that in the final round at the Summer Universiade 2013 he was almost as good as his rival. The Bronze medal in this weight category was won by Kadyr Kelsinbekov, Kyrgyzstan, and by Anatolie Moldovan, Moldava. “I made some errors," Oskanov said. "Russian wrestlers are usually trying to get behind your back and grip you, but I failed to counter-attack. It is only this technical detail that I was worse than my rival, and nothing else,” added the wrestler who has been combining koresh wrestling with his 'specialisation', freestyle wrestling, for already four years.
