The Russians beat Team Thailand 3-0 (25:18, 25:19, 25:18) and advanced to the finals. "We were tuning in to this game, we prepared seriously, because we knew what to expect from the team of Thailand. Like all the Asian teams, they play very tenacious defense, and you have to be alert all the time, and in any case we cannot afford ourselves to relax. I think today we have played well, and therefore we were able to win," said Borodakova to the reporters.

Against the Russians in the national team of Thailand played Sittirak Onuma, who played earlier in Dynamo Kazan. "I remember her since the national team. Onuma is a known player, she is a strong volleyball player, technically and tactically. But we were able to deal with it today," said the Russian woman, thanking fans for their support. "I see such full stands on the women's volleyball in Kazan for the first time. Support charges greatly," said Borodakova.

The Brazilian team that won Poland in the semi-finals (3-1) will be the rival of the Russian team in the finals. Finals will be held on Monday, July 15.
