On Sunday, the Japanese national team beat the team of Belarus with the score 3-1 in the match for the third place at the Universiade. Belarusian hockey players were leading almost the entire match, but at the end of the meeting during three minutes conceded three goals.

"Actually, I'm not entirely happy with the actions of my team, our game against Belarus was imperfect. But despite the fact that we almost lost the entire match, the team spirit was not broken. We believed in victory and continued to seek the fortune near the competitors' gates. We created many moments and in the end were able to win. Our resilience and spirit gave us the medals," said Kobayashi to R-Sport.

In the final tournament, which takes place on Sunday, the teams of Russia and South Korea play.
