An important part of the team that focuses on the preparation and staging of the 2013 Summer Universiade are higher education institutions of Russia.
The first cooperation agreements with top universities and institutes of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia were signed in December 2010, and the official status ‘HEI of 2013 Summer Universiade’ was granted to them upon conclusion of these documents. The agreement governs the cooperation between the parties on the implementation of educational projects, promotion of the World University Games, ideas of a healthier lifestyle and sports, development and promotion of volunteering in the Russian Federation.Read more
Specialised secondary education establishments (technical schools, colleges, etc) play an integral part in the 2013 Summer Universiade organising team, as they train professional personnel which are so much in demand in the preparation for the 2013 Games.
The partnership was formalised by signing a cooperation agreement between the Board of directors of specialised secondary education establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 on April 5, 2012.Read more
The project of the Cultural Universiade is implemented in collaboration with major production groups, artistic unions and cultural institutions. The cooperation with the Executive Directorate of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 in the city of Kazan with museums, theatres, concert halls and cultural youth organisations allows to cover a wide variety of cultural activities.Read more
