All-Russian University Canoe/Kayak Competitions

All-Russian University Canoe/Kayak Competitions are held at the Rowing Centre on June 22-26. The event is organised by the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, Russian Student Sports Union, All-Russian Kayak-Canoe Federation, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. The competitions are equivalent to the RSSU Canoe/Kayak Championship. Winners in 12 boat classes will be decided at the tournament.

Only athletes with the second grade and higher are eligible for the competitions:

  • full-time students of higher vocational education establishments;
  • students of higher education establishments that graduated on the year previous to the year of the competitions;

The entrants must be less than 27 years old.

Individual event winners are decided in each discipline. Team standings are defined based on the total points gained by the teams in two final races. Two best results in individual events and one best in team events are counted in each discipline. Points are credited for the place the teams take.
